Dance

Just like music, dance is an art form which people mainly use to express the traditional beliefs and culture. Folk dances of India really evoke a sense of wonder. They perform the real indigenous culture of a society of a small community. The oldest among folk dances is Bharatanatyam which is native to Tamil Nadu. Garba of Gujarat, Kathakali of Kerala, Bihu of Assam, Kuchipudi of Andhra Pradesh are some of the famous dance forms of India. India is famous for its vast variety of cultures and traditions. Culture helps to bring the various viewpoints together with their diversity. Art is a way of expressing thoughts and imaginations in an ungrammatical way. It can be through drawings, paintings, music or dance. Art has always brought out its positive effects in society like connecting people, Self worth, well being, economy and many more. Both art and culture are interlinked as one expresses their culture through their art. They have social and economic benefits as well.
