Mantri Pragada Markandeyulu is an author, writer, lyricist and composer. An award-winning writer, he has to his credit over 25 short stories, 400 micro poetry pieces, 155 songs including 35 Hindi songs and 45 Telugu lyrics, and hundreds of sayings and quotable quotes. Having retired from a Public Sector Unit, he enjoys his retired life dedicating his time to literary groups and writing. Some of his achievements are: an honorary Doctorate in Literature from ITMUT Brazil, title of Peace Ambassador, Bangladesh, a Royal Success International Book of Records awardee, founder of Poetic Charminar Group, Golden Eagle World Awardee for Literary Excellence, Gujarat Sahitya Academy, Motivational Strips Literary Excellence Honor, “A Royal Commemorative Peace and Humanity Award” by the Royal Kutai Mulawarman Peace International Institute, Philippines, Institute of Scholars (InSc) Research Excellence Award, Gujarat Sahitya Academy and Motivational Strips 2020 Honor, Literary Brigadier Honor (2018) from Story Mirror, Spotlight Superstar Honor (2018) from Story Mirror, State of Birland at Bir Tawil Recognized Poet, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Ratan Award 2021 – WHRC Honour, and Mahatma Gandhi Humanity Award 2021 – WHRC Honour.
