Population & Human Geography

Human geography has a sub branch in specific named, population geography. Why and how is it important? It helps us to study about the distribution and density of the human population of the world. It is of immense wonder that how are deserts, glaciers and grasslands are present in the same globe. Geography helps students to study the earth’s movements, build navigation skills and many more. It also helps to examine the topography of the land and study more about water, sand and other elements. The continent Australia was not included in the Oceania at first, but now the country is a part of this geographical continent. Among the seven continents of the world, Asia has the highest population. This, in turn, also reflects the spatial demography and its way of distribution among the world.
