Physical Chemistry

Physical chemistry deals with the study of macroscopic particles with the help of physical concepts like energy, force, work, motion and so on. This field of chemistry involves study of how reactions work, about the properties particles show etc. It also deals with other important concepts like chemical bonding within atoms or molecules, change in energy, change in entropy and many more. Chemistry is a vast field of study which we touch, feel, smell and even eat in our everyday life. Interesting isn’t it? How is the soap we use for cleaning made? How is vinegar used as a preservative? The answer to all these questions lies in the world of chemistry. One common example of physical chemistry is dissolution of sugar in tea. We ourselves are the products of chemistry since our body is made of minerals and chemicals. The water we drink, the food we eat, the medicines we take are all a part of chemistry.
