Paper Battery

Presentations | English

A paper battery is engineered to use a spacer formed largely of cellulose. It incorporates nanoscopic scale structures to act as high surface-area electrodes to improve conductivity. A paper battery is a thin, flexible energy production and storage device that is formed by combining carbon nanotubes with a conventional sheet of cellulose-based paper. In electronics, paper batteries are mainly used in the electronic devices such as mobile phones, calculators, laptop batteries, digital cameras and also in the wireless communication devices like mouse, Bluetooth, keyboard, speakers and headsets. On the other hand, fuel cells battery is costly and not portable in size. While, paper battery is ultra-thin, flexible energy storage device and having advantages over other battery such as light in weight, rechargeable, biodegradable, non-toxic, no leakage, no overheating, long life, easily reusable and recyclable.
