UGC NET Sociology

The syllabus for the second paper consists of 10 Units: Sociological theory- Research methodology and methods- Basic concepts and institutions- Rural and urban transformations- State, politics and development- Economy and society- Environment and society- Family, marriage and kinship- Science, technology and society- Culture and symbolic transformations. The paper contains hundred (100) objective type questions of two (2) marks each and all questions are compulsory. The exam will be in online mode and the duration will be two hours.
