The syllabus for the second paper consists of 10 Units: Introduction and sources of population data- Methods of demography/ population analysis- Population composition and change- Nuptiality and fertility- Mortality, morbidity and health- Urbanization and migration- Population, development and environment- Population issues: gender and special groups- Population & health policies and programmes- Research methodology and programme evaluation. The paper contains hundred (100) objective type questions of two (2) marks each and all questions are compulsory. The exam will be in online mode and the duration will be two hours.
