The manufacture of the most powerful sulphuric acid through contact process, ammonia through Haber’s process are some of the major chemical reactions in industrial chemistry. Chemistry is a huge field of study which we touch, feel, smell and even eat in our day to day life. How is the soap we use for cleaning made? Through the process of saponification. How is vinegar used as a preservative? The answer to all these questions lies in the world of chemistry. We ourselves are the products of chemistry since our body is made of minerals and chemicals.
