Yahoodiyayile Oru Gramathil is a Malayam Christian song from the album 'Snehapratheekam' sung by renowned singer K J Yesudas. It was released by Tharangini and this song was written and directed by AJ Joseph. AJ Joseph was well-known for his religious songs. Joseph began his career as a guitarist in the late N N Pillai's theatre group, and was immortalised by the Christmas hymn 'Yahoodiyaayile Oru Gramathil,' which has been a great hit since 1987 when it was first released. All of Joseph's tracks for Tharangini Music Company's CD 'Snehapratheekam' became instant hits. Yahoodiyaayile Oru Gramathil was one among them, and it was warmly welcomed in both Tamil and Kannada. Joseph was the choir master of Lourdes Church in Kottayam and founded a western musical school there.
