This song is from the movie Devaraagam. The lyrics were penned by M. D. Rajendran and was sung by K. S. Chithra and P Unnikrishnan. M. M. Keeravani composed the film's music, which made it renowned. Devaraagam is a 1996 Indian malayalam film directed by Bharathan and starring Sridevi and Arvind Swamy. Supporting actors were KPAC Lalitha, Kozhikode Narayanan Nair, Zeenath, and Nedumudi Venu. All of the songs were number one on the charts. This was the film in which actress Sridevi returned to Malayalam after a long absence due to her focus on her Bollywood career. The film was also released in Tamil and Telugu dubbing. In Ya Ya Ya Yaadava from the Malayalam film Devaraagam, Sridevi imagines herself as a yearning Radha on the lookout for her Krishna (Arvind Swamy). Sridevi sings solo During the whole of the song, and despite the lack of detail in the background, she dominates the screen.
ദേവരാഗം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണിത്. എം ഡി രാജേന്ദ്രൻ എഴുതിയ വരികൾ ആലപിച്ചത് കെ എസ് ചിത്രയും പി ഉണ്ണികൃഷ്ണനും ചേർന്നാണ്. എം.എം.കീരവാണിയാണ് ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതം ഒരുക്കിയത്, അത് സിനിമയെ പ്രശസ്തമാക്കി. ഭരതൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് ശ്രീദേവിയും അരവിന്ദ് സ്വാമിയും അഭിനയിച്ച 1996 ലെ ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാളം ചിത്രമാണ് ദേവരാഗം. കെപിഎസി ലളിത, കോഴിക്കോട് നാരായണൻ നായർ, സീനത്ത്, നെടുമുടി വേണു എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു സഹനടന്മാർ. എല്ലാ ഗാനങ്ങളും ചാർട്ടിൽ ഒന്നാം സ്ഥാനത്തായിരുന്നു. ബോളിവുഡ് കരിയറിൽ ശ്രദ്ധ കേന്ദ്രീകരിച്ച് ഏറെ നാളുകൾക്ക് ശേഷം നടി ശ്രീദേവി മലയാളത്തിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചെത്തിയ ചിത്രമായിരുന്നു ഇത്. ചിത്രം തമിഴിലും തെലുങ്കിലും പുറത്തിറങ്ങി. ദേവരാഗം എന്ന മലയാളത്തിലെ യാ യാ യാദവയിൽ, ശ്രീദേവി തന്റെ കൃഷ്ണനെ (അരവിന്ദ് സ്വാമി) തിരയുന്ന രാധയായി സ്വയം സങ്കൽപ്പിക്കുന്നു. പാട്ടിന്റെ മുഴുവൻ സമയത്തും ശ്രീദേവി സോളോ പാടുന്നു, പശ്ചാത്തലത്തിൽ വിശദാംശങ്ങളുടെ അഭാവം ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നിട്ടും, അവൾ സ്ക്രീനിൽ ആധിപത്യം പുലർത്തുന്നു.
