"Yamini Devi Yamini nee padoo" is a song from the movie Chuvanna chirakukal. Itis a 1971 malayalam film directed by Sankaran Nair. Jayan, Jayabharathi, MG Soman and Sharmila Tagore play the lead roles. Salil Chowdhury wrote the lyrics and ONV Kurup composed it's music. S Janaki performed this song. Sharmila Tagore was introduced to the Malayalam cinema industry with this film. Daisy is the Hindi title for the film. Jayabharathi began her acting career as a child artist in India. During the 1970s and early 1980s, she was one of Malayalam cinema's most popular heroines. She has appeared in over 250 films, the most of which are Malayalam films.
