Yaamam Punassamaagama Yaamam is a Malayam song from the movie Dada Sahib which is a Malayalam action-drama film released in 2000. It was co-written and directed by Vinayan and featuring Mammootty in the dual roles. Mohan Sithara composed the song's music, while Yusufali Kecheri wrote the words. The feminine voice was sung by K S Chithra, and the male voice was sung by K J Yesudas. This film was one of the most well-received of the year. Sai Kumar, Murali, Rajan P Dev, Babu Namboothiri, Kalabhavan Mani, Cochin Haneefa, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Madhupal, and Mohan Sharma are among the other famous characters. Mammootty portrayed Dada Sahib, an elderly freedom warrior from the Indian independence movement, and Abubacker, an army veteran and nationalist.
2000-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു മലയാളം ആക്ഷൻ-ഡ്രാമ ചിത്രമായ ദാദാ സാഹിബ് എന്ന സിനിമയിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് "യാമം പുനസ്സമാഗമ യാമം". ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ വിനയൻ സഹ-രചനയും സംവിധാനവും നിർവ്വഹിച്ചു, മമ്മൂട്ടി ഇരട്ട വേഷങ്ങളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു. യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരി വരികൾ എഴുതിയപ്പോൾ മോഹൻ സിത്താരയാണ് ഗാനത്തിന് സംഗീതം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. സ്ത്രീ ശബ്ദം കെ എസ് ചിത്രയും പുരുഷ ശബ്ദം കെ ജെ യേശുദാസും ആലപിച്ചു. ആ വർഷം ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച സ്വീകാര്യത നേടിയ ചിത്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നായിരുന്നു ഈ ചിത്രം. സായ് കുമാർ, മുരളി, രാജൻ പി ദേവ്, ബാബു നമ്പൂതിരി, കലാഭവൻ മണി, കൊച്ചിൻ ഹനീഫ, കെ ബി ഗണേഷ് കുമാർ, മധുപാൽ, മോഹൻ ശർമ്മ തുടങ്ങിയവരാണ് മറ്റ് പ്രമുഖ കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ. ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമരത്തിലെ പ്രായമായ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമര പോരാളിയായ ദാദാ സാഹിബിനെയും ഒരു സൈനികനും ദേശീയവാദിയുമായ അബൂബക്കറെയും മമ്മൂട്ടി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു.
