"The title derived from the very first verse of the Surah, Surah Ya-Seen is the thirty sixth Surah in the Holy Book of Quran. It comprises of a total of 83 verses (ayah), divided into 5 Rukus or Sections. It was revealed, during the latter half of the time of Prophet Muhammad's declaration of his prophethood, in Mecca. The Surah being Meccan, it has similar characteristics like that of the previous ones. Here also, the main focus of the Surah is the concept of Oneness of God or monotheism, Admonish, teachings on life after death and several different warnings intended for the Meccans who refused to accept Prophet Muhammad's message. It is stated that anybody who recites Surah Ya-Seen in the hours of the night, seeking for the Devine Power, will be forgiven by God Himself."
