Have you ever felt frightened or intimidated when out walking alone? Have you ever wondered what you should do if approached by an attacker? Have you ever worried about becoming yet another home invasion statistic? Women’s safety and its issues are discussed and debated all around the globe. Still, every year the number of reports on sexual-harassment and domestic violence is increasing at an alarming rate and now become a major issue. Women are neither safe outside nor at home. So how can we ensure our safety? There are laws but there should be proper safety measures which we have to follow strictly to protect the women from violence. Some safety measures are practicing self-awareness, always trust your gut instinct, taking self-defense training, pepper spray as your secret weapon, and contact the emergency women helpline number or install safety app on your phone. Currently there are many safety gadgets available which tracks the GPS and locates us. So always remember that we are not alone in anywhere.
