Which Vs What - 03

Images | English

The main distinction between which and what is that which is used when there is a limited selection, whereas what is used when there is a larger selection. In the English language, there are two common interrogative pronouns: which and what. The word hwt comes from the Old English word haet. The pronouns "what" and "which" are both interrogative. This means they represent something the speaker is unaware of. They work for things, qualities, or locations, but never for people. You usually use the word "who" instead of "whom" when referring to people. To know more about this, check out the design.
