There are different ways to say that something is delicious. We tend to use the words according to the situation and the place that we are in and also in degree of how much we love the food. Food description is not as simple as it appears. How many different ways can you describe something as delicious? It's not nearly enough to keep you interested in what you're writing. That is why we must borrow words from other languages to describe the food and its effect on us. Delicious meals are delicious, appetising, scrumptious, yummy, luscious, delectable, mouth-watering, fit for a king, delightful, lovely, wonderful, pleasant, enjoyable, appealing, enchanting, and charming. What is tasteless or unpleasant would not be described as delicious.
