Water is an indispensable natural resource for the sustenance of life on earth. Approximately 70.8% of the planet is covered with water and yet we talk of water conservation and water harvesting. Why is this? Be it freshwater or saltwater, ground water or surface water, water pollution and wastage is a major problem that has gripped the world today. While it is essential not to waste potable water, and also esure we harvest water, it is also equally essential that we do not pollute any and all bodies of water so that all life forms on the planet survive.
