Virtual Reality

Presentations | English

You cannot eat popcorn while wearing a virtual reality headset. Is it possible to create an artificial world? Yes. That’s what the technology proved. It is a self-created form of chosen reality. Therefore, it exists. It is an experience that can be similar to or completely different from the real world. It includes augmented reality, mixed reality and sometimes extended reality too. The exact origin of VR is disputed, partly because of how difficult it has been to formulate a definition for the concept of an alternative existence. The goal of VR is to provide human beings with a virtual environment where we can interact with a computer just as we do in the real world, that is, by talking with a virtual human in a spoken language, by writing a letter, or by drawing a picture. The major disadvantages are addiction, functionality issues, expensive and deteriorating human connections. VR can improve education by providing students with memorable and immersive experiences that would otherwise not be possible.
