“Vidya Poshini Grandhavali Books-2” was written by Punnasherinambi Sri Neelakanda Guru and published by Chembozhe Parmeswaran Nambeeshan in the year 1923. The book was printed from Manglodayam Printing Press, Trishivaperoor. This book is a collection of essays which mainly focuses on the ancient India’s life and its culture. The literature in ancient India was very different and started with Sanskrit language. Also the author mentions about the works of those times written by Ezhuthachan.
"വിദ്യാപോഷിണി ഗ്രന്ഥവാലി പുസ്തകങ്ങൾ-2" പുന്നശ്ശേരിനമ്പി ശ്രീ നീലകണ്ഠ ഗുരു രചിച്ച് 1923-ൽ ചെമ്പൊഴെ പരമേശ്വരൻ നമ്പീശൻ പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചതാണ്. തൃശിവപേരൂരിലെ മംഗ്ലോദയം പ്രിന്റിംഗ് പ്രസിൽ നിന്നാണ് ഈ പുസ്തകം അച്ചടിച്ചത്. ഈ പുസ്തകം പ്രധാനമായും പുരാതന ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ജീവിതത്തെയും അതിന്റെ സംസ്കാരത്തെയും കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കുന്ന ഉപന്യാസങ്ങളുടെ ഒരു ശേഖരമാണ്. പുരാതന ഇന്ത്യയിലെ സാഹിത്യം വളരെ വ്യത്യസ്തവും സംസ്കൃത ഭാഷയിൽ ആരംഭിച്ചതുമാണ്. എഴുത്തച്ഛൻ എഴുതിയ അക്കാലത്തെ കൃതികളെക്കുറിച്ചും ഗ്രന്ഥകാരൻ പരാമർശിക്കുന്നു.
