“Vidwan Machattelayathinde Krithikal Volume-1” was written by Machattu Illayathu and published by Vidhya Vinodini Printing Press, Trishivaperoor in the year 1927. This book is a famous collection of poems which was written by Mechattu. Ilayathu is a Hindu community in Kerala and belong to the sect of Malayala Brahmins.
