Video Game - Boon or Bane

Presentations | English

The younger generation is addicted to video games, as it gives an adventurous sensation of fun, thrill and winning. Teenagers spend most of their time on them as it is their favourite activity of passing the time and when it comes to children, parents usually encourage use of these games to keep them engaged. For some, it can be a boon, as a playing activity in between studies and school life. It becomes a bane when they depend on it all the time, giving it importance and acting as if they can't do anything in life. Nowadays, we have video game access in the smart phones we use. Even adults are becoming so used to it that they have started investing money for progressing in the levels of the games. According to WHO, game addiction is a mental disorder. The rate of individuals falling into this trap is increasing at an alarming rate. There is a positive side if we know our limits and use them only for passing the time. Interesting information about the topic can be understood from the presentation.
