Velimalayil vettakethiya vedanmare is a song from Mahesh's 1968 Indian Malayalam film Viplavakarikal, which was directed by Mahesh and produced by P. Subramaniam. Madhu, K. V. Shanthi, Muthukulam Raghavan Pillai, and Ramachandran play the lead roles in the film. The lyrics were written by Vayalar Ramavarma and the music was composed by G. Devarajan. This song was performed by L. R. Eeswari and Kamukara. Rajeswari, Lourde-Mary L. R. Eswari is an Indian playback singer who has sung songs in many languages under the name "Eswari." She received the Kalaimamani, Tamil Nadu's highest creative honour, for her contributions to the film industry. Kamukara Purushothaman was an Indian singer. He was a noted playback singer in Malayalam cinema during its early years.
