The Battle of Badr is one of the most notable of the Islamic wars. It is also known as the Battle of Badr as it was fought at Badar. The Battle of Badr was a historic moment in Islamic history. The Battle of Badr was the basis of all subsequent victories and progress of Islam. The Battle of Badr, known as the Mother of Wars, and the heroic martyrdom of the Badrins, became a source of inspiration for all subsequent wars and victories. More than 300 Companions were fighting on the battlefield of Badr for the liberation of the truth without any weapons. They are our leaders, our heroes, and our love for them is part of our faith. They had only faith in Allah. There were thousands of people with weapons in enemy armies. With the help of Allah, prominent people including Abu Jahl were killed from the enemy line and the muslims were victorious. The Badarins were the ones who took part in this war for the survival of the religion.
ഇസ്ലാമിക യുദ്ധങ്ങളിൽ എന്തുകൊണ്ടും ശ്രദ്ധേയമായതും പ്രഥമസ്ഥാനം അർഹിക്കുന്നതുമാണ് ബദർ യുദ്ധം. ബദർ എന്ന സ്ഥലത്ത് വെച്ച് നടന്ന യുദ്ധം ആയതുകൊണ്ട് അത് ബദർ യുദ്ധം എന്ന പേരിൽ അറിയപ്പെട്ടു. ഇസ്ലാമിക ചരിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഉജ്ജ്വല ചരിത്ര മുഹൂർത്തമായിരുന്നു ബദർ യുദ്ധം. പിൽക്കാലത്ത് ഇസ്ലാമിനുണ്ടായിരുന്ന സർവ്വ വിജയങ്ങളുടെയും പുരോഗതിയുടെയും അടിസ്ഥാനം ബദർയുദ്ധം ആയിരുന്നു. യുദ്ധങ്ങളുടെ മാതാവായി അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ബദർ യുദ്ധവും അതിൽ പങ്കെടുത്ത് വീര രക്തസാക്ഷിത്വം വരിച്ച ബദ്രീങ്ങളും പിന്നീടുണ്ടായ സർവ്വ യുദ്ധങ്ങൾക്കും വിജയങ്ങൾക്കും കരുത്തുപകർന്നു അക്ഷര സ്രോതസ്സായി നിലകൊണ്ടു. ആയിരത്തോളം വരുന്ന സർവ്വ യുദ്ധസന്നാഹങ്ങൾ ഉള്ള ശത്രു സൈന്യത്തോട് ഈമാൻ മാത്രം കൈമുതലാക്കിയ മുന്നൂറിൽ പരം സ്വഹാബത്ത് സത്യ വിമോചനത്തിനുവേണ്ടി ബദർ രണാങ്കണത്തിൽ ഏറ്റുമുട്ടുകയായിരുന്നു. അല്ലാഹുവിൻ്റെ സഹായത്താൽ ശത്രു നിരയിൽനിന്ന് അബൂജഹൽ അടക്കമുള്ള പ്രമുഖർ കൊല്ലപ്പെടുകയും മുസ്ലീങ്ങൾ വിജയം വരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഈ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ദീനിൻ്റെ നിലനിൽപ്പിനുവേണ്ടി പങ്കെടുത്തവരാണ് ബദരീങ്ങൾ.
