Vedapureevasane' is a hindu devotional song from the album Vedapureeshan. Vijesh Gopal was the singer of this song. G Nisheekanth composed the song's music and wrote it's lyrics. Tripunithura's Sree Poornathrayesa temple is one of Kerala's most important, and it was the first of eight royal temples built during the ancient Kochi Kingdom. The deity was also revered as Cochin's national deity and Tripunithura's protection guardian. Lord Vishnu, in the form of Santhanagopala Murthy, is the deity of this temple. Elephants are Lord Poornathrayeesa's favourite animals. As a result, around 40 elephants take part in his Vrishchikotsavam. And, because Poornathrayeesa is an elephant lover, most elephants are sent for the utsavam (festival) without the elephant owners expecting a monetary return.
വേദപുരീശൻ എന്ന ആൽബത്തിലെ ഒരു ഹിന്ദു ഭക്തിഗാനമാണ് 'വേദപുരീവാസനേ'. വിജേഷ് ഗോപാലായിരുന്നു ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ ഗായകൻ. ജി നിശീകാന്താണ് ഗാനത്തിന്റെ സംഗീതം ഒരുക്കിയതും വരികൾ എഴുതിയതും. തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറയിലെ ശ്രീപൂർണ്ണത്രയീശ ക്ഷേത്രം കേരളത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും പ്രധാനപ്പെട്ട ഒന്നാണ്, പുരാതന കൊച്ചി രാജ്യകാലത്ത് നിർമ്മിച്ച എട്ട് രാജകീയ ക്ഷേത്രങ്ങളിൽ ആദ്യത്തേതാണ് ഇത്. കൊച്ചിയുടെ ദേശീയ ദേവതയായും തൃപ്പൂണിത്തുറയുടെ സംരക്ഷകനായും ആരാധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. സന്താനഗോപാല മൂർത്തിയുടെ രൂപത്തിലുള്ള മഹാവിഷ്ണുവാണ് ഈ ക്ഷേത്രത്തിലെ പ്രതിഷ്ഠ. പൂർണ്ണത്രയീശ ഭഗവാന്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട മൃഗങ്ങളാണ് ആനകൾ. ഇതിന്റെ ഫലമായി 40 ഓളം ആനകൾ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ വൃശ്ചികോത്സവത്തിൽ പങ്കെടുക്കുന്നു. കൂടാതെ, പൂർണത്രയീശ ആനപ്രേമിയായതിനാൽ, ആനയുടമകൾ പണം പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കാതെയാണ് മിക്ക ആനകളെയും ഉത്സവത്തിന് അയക്കുന്നത്.
