Vasanthabandhura Vanahrudayam is a Malayalam song in the album Onapookkal Vol 1 which is released in the year 1982. Alleppey Ranganath composed the music for the song while O. N. V Kurupp wrote the lyrics. Ottaplakkal Neelakandan Velu Kurup was a Malayalam poet and lyricist from Kerala, India, who in 2007 received the Jnanpith Award, India's highest literary honor. Kattassery Joseph Yesudas sung the song for the album. Gaanagandharvan is a nickname for him. He is one of India's most well-known singers.
1982-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഓണപ്പൂക്കൾ വാല്യം 1 എന്ന ആൽബത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് വസന്തബന്ധുര വനഹൃദയം. ആലപ്പി രംഗനാഥാണ് ഗാനത്തിന് സംഗീതം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്, ഒ.എൻ.വി കുറുപ്പാണ് വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. 2007-ൽ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പരമോന്നത സാഹിത്യ ബഹുമതിയായ ജ്ഞാനപീഠ പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ച ഇന്ത്യയിലെ കേരളത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാള കവിയും ഗാനരചയിതാവുമാണ് ഒറ്റപ്ലാക്കൽ നീലകണ്ഠൻ വേലു കുറുപ്പ്. ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് കാട്ടാശ്ശേരി ജോസഫ് യേശുദാസാണ്. ഗാനഗന്ധർവൻ എന്നാണ് അദ്ദേഹത്തിന് വിളിപ്പേര്. ഇന്ത്യയിലെ ഏറ്റവും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഗായകരിൽ ഒരാളാണ് അദ്ദേഹം.
