“Vasandhasenam” was written by Kunnathu Janardhana Menon, which was published by V.V. Publishig House, Trivandrum in the year 1932. This is a very interesting novel which says about lives of people and king who lived in the kingdom called Ujjaini. Ujjaini was a place situated in Madhya Pradesh. The king who ruled Ujjaini was not favourable to his people and ruled the kingdom with a selfish mind. Due to his selfish ruling many problems were faced by the people of that kingdom.
“വസന്തസേനം” എഴുതിയത് കുന്നത്തു ജനാർദ്ദനമേനോൻ, അത് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചത് വി.വി. പബ്ലിഷിഗ് ഹൗസ്, തിരുവനന്തപുരം, 1932-ൽ. മധ്യപ്രദേശിലെ ഒരു സ്ഥലമായിരുന്നു ഉജ്ജയിനി. ഉജ്ജയിനി ഭരിച്ചിരുന്ന രാജാവ് തന്റെ പ്രജകൾക്ക് അനുകൂലനല്ല, സ്വാർത്ഥ മനസ്സോടെ രാജ്യം ഭരിച്ചു. അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ സ്വാർത്ഥ ഭരണം കാരണം ആ രാജ്യത്തിലെ ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് നിരവധി പ്രശ്നങ്ങൾ നേരിടേണ്ടി വന്നു.
