Mohan Sithara is an Indian music composer who has been an active musician in the Malayalam film industry since 1986. Yusufali Kechery was an Indian poet, film lyricist, film producer, and director. He composed during the modern era of Malayalam poetry and earned the Odakkuzhal Award, the Kerala Sahitya Academy Award and the Vallathol Award.
വർണ്ണക്കാഴ്ചകൾ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ് 'വരിക നിരുവിച്ച'. സുന്ദർദാസ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ദിലീപ്, പൂർണിമ ഇന്ദ്രജിത്ത്, ഹരിപ്രിയ, എൻ.എഫ്. വർഗീസ് പ്രധാന വേഷങ്ങളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു, 2000 ൽ ഈ ചിത്രം പുറത്തിറങ്ങി. ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത് കെ എസ് ചിത്രയും മോഹൻ സിത്താരയും ചേർന്നാണ്. യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരിയുടെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയ രാഗം ആരഭിയിൽ മോഹൻ സിത്താര സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. 1986 മുതൽ മലയാളം ചലച്ചിത്രമേഖലയിൽ സജീവമായ സംഗീതജ്ഞനായ ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ സംഗീതസംവിധായകനാണ് മോഹൻ സിത്താര. ഒരു ഇന്ത്യൻ കവിയും ചലച്ചിത്ര ഗാനരചയിതാവും ചലച്ചിത്ര നിർമ്മാതാവും സംവിധായകനുമായിരുന്നു യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരി. മലയാള കവിതയുടെ ആധുനിക കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ രചിച്ച അദ്ദേഹം ഓടക്കുഴൽ അവാർഡ്, കേരള സാഹിത്യ അക്കാദമി അവാർഡ്, വള്ളത്തോൾ അവാർഡ് എന്നിവ നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്.
