Vandikkara is a very famous song from the movie Odayil Ninnu that was released in the year 1965. The song is very well known for the poetic lines that was written by Vayalar Ramavarma and was composed by none other than G Devarajan. And to make the song a majestic one the golden touch of the singer K J Yesudas was also added.
1965-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഓടയിൽ നിന്ന് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ വളരെ പ്രശസ്തമായ ഗാനമാണ് വണ്ടിക്കാരാ. വയലാർ രാമവർമ എഴുതിയ ഈ ഗാനത്തിലെ കാവ്യാത്മകമായ വരികൾ പ്രശസ്തമാണ്. ഈ ഗാനത്തിൻ്റെ സംവിധാനം ജി ദേവരാജാണ്. ഈ പാട്ടിനെ ഗംഭീരമാക്കിയത് ഗായകൻ കെ ജെ യേശുദാസിന്റെ സുവർണ്ണസ്പർശം കൂടിയായിരുന്നു.
