Utharaayanakkili Paadi is a song from the movie Thara sung by K J Yesudas. Gaanagandharvan Yesudas is one of the highly renowned singers in India. The music was composed by G. Devarajan and the lyrics were written by Vayalar Ramavarma. Thara is a Malayalam film directed by M. Krishnan Nair and produced by M. Kunchacko that was released in 1972. Prem Nazir, Sathyan, Sharada, and Usha play the key roles in the film. Vayalar Ramavarma wrote the majority of Devarajan's successful songs. Until Vayalar's death in the mid-1970s, the Vayalar-Devarajan combination was the most successful team. Hundreds of the team's songs are still remembered fondly by Malayalis.
കെ ജെ യേശുദാസ് പാടിയ താര എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ് "ഉത്തരായനക്കിളി പാടി". ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പ്രശസ്ത ഗായകരിൽ ഒരാളാണ് ഗാനഗന്ധർവ്വൻ യേശുദാസ്. വയലാർ രാമവർമ എഴുതിയ വരികൾക്ക് സംഗീതം നൽകിയത് ജി.ദേവരാജനാണ്. എം. കൃഷ്ണൻ നായർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത് എം. കുഞ്ചാക്കോ നിർമ്മിച്ച് 1972-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് താര. പ്രേം നസീർ, സത്യൻ, ശാരദ, ഉഷ എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. ദേവരാജന്റെ വിജയഗാനങ്ങളിൽ ഭൂരിഭാഗവും എഴുതിയത് വയലാർ രാമവർമയാണ്. 1970-കളുടെ മധ്യത്തിൽ വയലാറിന്റെ മരണം വരെ വയലാർ-ദേവരാജൻ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടായിരുന്നു ഏറ്റവും വിജയകരമായ ടീം. ടീമിന്റെ നൂറുകണക്കിന് ഗാനങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോഴും മലയാളികൾ സ്നേഹത്തോടെ ഓർക്കുന്നു.
