“Ushasse” is a Malayalam song from the movie Gangaa sangamam which was released in the year 1972. This song was sung by the playback singer P Madhuri. The lyrics for this song were written by Vayalar Ramavarma. This song was beautifully composed by music director G Devarajan in Harikamboji raga. The film actors Prem Nazeer, Ragini, Jayabharathi, Thikkurissi Sukumaran Nair, Kottarakara Sreedharan Nair played the lead character roles in this movie. This movie was directed together by J D Thottaan and Paul Kallungal.
1972-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഗംഗാസംഗമം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് “ഉഷസ്സെ”. ഈ ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത് പിന്നണി ഗായിക പി മാധുരിയാണ്. വയലാർ രാമവർമയാണ് ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. ഹരികാംബോജി രാഗത്തിൽ സംഗീത സംവിധായകൻ ജി ദേവരാജൻ മനോഹരമായി ഈ ഗാനം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ചലച്ചിത്ര അഭിനേതാക്കളായ പ്രേംനസീർ, രാഗിണി, ജയഭാരതി, തിക്കുറിശ്ശി സുകുമാരൻ നായർ, കൊട്ടാരക്കര ശ്രീധരൻ നായർ എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്. ജെ ഡി തോട്ടനും പോൾ കല്ലുങ്കലും ചേർന്നാണ് ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത്.
