"""അഗ്നിപരീക്ഷ"" എന്ന ചലച്ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണ് ""ഉറങ്ങിക്കിടന്ന ഹൃദയം നീ ഉമ്മവെച്ചുമ്മവെച്ചുണർത്തി മനസ്സിൽ പതഞ്ഞ മധുരം നീ മറ്റൊരു പാത്രത്തിൽ പകർത്തി "" എന്ന ഈ ഗാനം. ആലപിച്ചത് കെ ജെ യേശുദാസ് ആണ്. ഈണം നൽകിയത് ജി ദേവരാജൻ ആണ്. ഈ ഗാനം എഴുതിയത് വയലാർ രാമവർമ്മ ആണ്. ദീപക് കമ്പൈൻസിന്റെ ബാനറിൽ മുഹമ്മദ് അസീം നിർമ്മിച്ച് എം. കൃഷ്ണൻ നായർ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തു 1968 ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ മലയാളചിത്രമാണ് അഗ്നിപരീക്ഷ. രബീന്ദ്രനാഥ് ടാഗോർ എഴുതിയ റെക്ക് എന്ന ബംഗാളി നോവലിനെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കി. തോപ്പിൽ ഭാസി തിരക്കഥയും സംഭാഷണവും രചിച്ച ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ പ്രേം നസീർ, സത്യൻ, ഉമ്മർ, ജി. കെ. പിള്ള, ടി.എസ്. മുത്തയ്യ, അടൂർ ഭാസി, ശാരദ, ഷീല തുടങ്ങിയവരാണ് പ്രധാന വേഷങ്ങളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചത്. വയലാറിന്റെ വരികൾക്ക് ദേവരാജൻ ഈണമിട്ടു. യേശുദാസും പി. സുശീലയും ബി. വസന്തയുമാണ് ഗാനങ്ങൾ ആലപിച്ചതു്."
