Sports current affairs is a recurring topic in UPSC exams, and candidates must be up to date on the newest sports and game news. In the sports category, essential issues include when did that sport begin, who won the World Cup in a certain year, and where the game would be held in the coming years. Despite the fact that these are simple questions, the exam does not include any stupid sports questions. The syllabus includes themes such as the Olympics, Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, Cricket World Cup, and ISL/ Indian Kabaddi League. Read the newspaper every day and jot down all of the significant sports headlines in distinct sports notes. In the UPSC prelims paper, the sports section contains 3-5 questions.
