UPSC Civil Service Prelims has 2 papers in General Studies. Each paper is of 200 marks each with a total score of 400. It is important to note about the time duration, which is two hours and negative marking. For each wrong answer, one by third or 33% mark will be deducted from the secured score. Paper 2 comprises of: General Mental ability, Basic Numeracy, Decision making and problem solving, Logical reasoning and Analytical ability, Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including Communication skills.
