This book marks the beginning of Bible just as the name itself means. Genesis talks about the origins and is a record of creation. Haven’t you wondered if the hen came first or the egg? Haven’t you been curious about how the galaxy runs or where the sun gets it’s light from? Genesis is the go to place for the answers. The highlight of this book is the fall of mankind and the promise made through a rainbow. My personal favorite is God’s plan of mankind’s redemption. It also talks about the patriarchs – Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Joseph and concludes with the rehabilitation of God’s people to Egypt.
