The song which begins with “Udayashobhayil” is from the 1982 true crime Malayalam film “Madrasile Mon.” This song was beautifully composed by the most famous south-Indian music composer, G. Devarajan, the lyrics were written by A.P. Gopalan, while it was sung by the very popular playback singer K.J. Yesudas. This film was produced by Mani Malliath, directed by J. Sasikumar and written by P.M. Nair. The film stars Ravikumar, Raveendran and Mohanlal.
"ഉദയശോഭയിൽ" എന്ന് തുടങ്ങുന്ന ഗാനം 1982 ലെ യഥാർത്ഥ ക്രൈം മലയാള ചിത്രമായ "മദ്രാസിലെ മോൻ" എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലേതാണ്. ദക്ഷിണേന്ത്യൻ സംഗീതസംവിധായകൻ ജി. ദേവരാജൻ മനോഹരമായി ഈണം പകർന്ന ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എ.പി. ഗോപാലൻ എഴുതിയപ്പോൾ ആലപിച്ചത് പ്രശസ്ത പിന്നണിഗായകൻ കെ.ജെ. യേശുദാസാണ്. മണി മല്യത്ത് നിർമ്മിച്ച ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത് ജെ. ശശികുമാർ, രചന പി.എം. നായർ. രവികുമാർ, രവീന്ദ്രൻ, മോഹൻലാൽ എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന താരങ്ങൾ.
