Business ethics is concerned with morality and fairness in behaviour, actions and practices that take place within a business context. There are various types of business ethics. The nature of the business and the business location has a major role in determining the business ethics. Some of the more common business ethics are personal responsibility, corporate responsibility, loyalty, respect, trustworthiness, fairness and so on. It helps the business to maintain better and harmonious relations with society, customers, employees, and the concerned industry sector. Corporations establish business ethics to promote integrity among their employees and gain trust from key stakeholders, such as investors and consumers. While corporate ethics programs have become common, the quality of the ethics that each organization holds varies.
