The dictionary meaning of the word 'tolerance' is "the quality of being willing to accept or tolerate somebody/something, especially opinions or behaviour that you may not agree with, or people who are not like you". This meaning says it all. Mutual respect comes from tolerance. A conscious effort is needed to be tolerant. Tolerance leads to a positive environment within the organisation. Creating a win-win situation becomes everyone's priority. As a leader how tolerant you are is tested when there is a failure especially because of poor decision making of someone. In this scenario tolerance will make the person involved more responsible and it will motivate him or her to prepare well and work harder next time. This leads to successes in the years to come.
