The dictionary meaning of the word 'tolerance' is "the quality of being willing to accept or tolerate somebody/something, especially opinions or behaviour that you may not agree with, or people who are not like you". This meaning says it all. Mutual respect comes from tolerance. A conscious effort is needed to be tolerant. Tolerance leads to a positive environment within the organisation. Creating a win-win situation becomes everyone's priority. As a leader how tolerant you are is tested when there is a failure especially because of poor decision making of someone.
