Presentations | English

What Is Toffee? Who invented toffee? What are the benefits of toffee? Toffee is butterscotch that has been cooked for a longer period of time. Toffee begins as a base of butter and brown sugar that is gradually cooked to the hard-crack sugar stage between 295 and 309 degrees Fahrenheit. What happens if you eat a lot of toffee? Do you know that they cause your blood sugar levels to spike and drop? Eating sweets causes your blood sugar levels to rise for a short while, and then crash soon after. Fluctuating blood sugar levels lead to anxiety, mood swings, fatigue, headaches and cravings for more sugar. As opposed to other types of candy, toffee is unique for its ability to provide a buttery crunchy mixed with a delicious richness from the chocolate. This is a mixture you just don’t find everywhere. Do you know that toffee can actually make you happier? So, lets learn more about the benefits of toffee, shall we?
