A group discussion or GD, in short, is a type of discussion involving several people where they share their opinions, ideas and views on a particular subject with everybody else in the discussion. The topics for discussion could vary from abstract ideologies to concrete or factual statements or happenings. GDs are widely practised in both academic and professional environments as it often acts as an icebreaker amongst fresh student and employee accommodates. While being a part of a GD there is a specific format that is expected to be followed. And to make the discussion most effective and efficient, you could use of a trick or two.
