K J Yesudas sung the song "Thullikkoru kudam pemaari" from the movie Eeta. G. Devarajan composed the music for the song, while Yusufali Kechery wrote the lyrics. Eeta is a Malayalam film starring Kamal Haasan, Madhu, Sheela, and Seema and directed by I. V. Sasi. Sheela and Seema, who both have feelings for Kamal Haasan, form a love triangle. The steamy scenes in the film are memorable. Gopalan, a cunning villain, was played by M. G. Soman. I. V. Sasi won the Filmfare Award for Best Director – Malayalam, and Kamal Haasan won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Ramu (Kamal Haasan), Varuthunni's (Madhu) adopted son, is in love with Sreedevi, Narayanan's (Jose Prakash) coworker's daughter. Annamma (Sheela) is a widow who likes Ramu despite the fact that he is younger than her.
ഈറ്റ എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ"തുള്ളിക്കൊരു കുടം പേമാരി" എന്ന ഗാനം ആലപിച്ചത് കെ ജെ യേശുദാസ് ആണ്. യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരി വരികൾ എഴുതിയപ്പോൾ ജി.ദേവരാജൻ സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. കമൽഹാസൻ, മധു, ഷീല, സീമ എന്നിവർ അഭിനയിച്ച് ഐ വി ശശി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത മലയാളചലച്ചിത്രമാണ് ഈറ്റ. കമൽഹാസനോട് അനുഭാവമുള്ള ഷീലയും സീമയും ഒരു ത്രികോണ പ്രണയം രൂപപ്പെടുന്നു. ചിത്രത്തിലെ ആവി നിറഞ്ഞ രംഗങ്ങൾ അവിസ്മരണീയമാണ്. ഗോപാലൻ എന്ന കൗശലക്കാരനായ വില്ലനെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത് എം ജി സോമനായിരുന്നു. മലയാളത്തിലെ മികച്ച സംവിധായകനുള്ള ഫിലിംഫെയർ അവാർഡ് ഐ.വി.ശശിയും മികച്ച നടനുള്ള ഫിലിംഫെയർ അവാർഡ് കമൽഹാസനും നേടി. വറുത്തുണ്ണിയുടെ (മധു) ദത്തുപുത്രനായ രാമു (കമൽ ഹാസൻ) നാരായണന്റെ (ജോസ് പ്രകാശ്) സഹപ്രവർത്തകന്റെ മകളായ ശ്രീദേവിയുമായി പ്രണയത്തിലാണ്. അന്നമ്മ (ഷീല) രാമുവിനെക്കാൾ ഇളയതാണെങ്കിലും അവനെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്ന ഒരു വിധവയാണ്.
