P Madhuri and P Jayachandran beautifully sang to the lyrics written by Vayalar. The song Thirunellikatto is from the movie Bhoomidevi Pushpiniyayi with actors Prem Nazir, Madhu, Jayabharathi etc. as the lead. The movie was released in the year 1979 and was composed by the famous music diresctor G Devarajan.
തിരുന്നെല്ലി കാട്ടിലോ എന്ന മനോഹര ഗാനം വയലാർ എഴുതി പി മാധുരിയും പി ജയചന്ദ്രനും മനോഹരമായി ആലപിച്ചു. പ്രേം നസീർ, മധു, ജയഭാരതി തുടങ്ങിയ അഭിനേതാക്കളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ച ഭൂമിദേവി പുഷ്പിണിയായി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഗാനമാണിത്. 1979-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഈ ചിത്രത്തിന് സംഗീതം നൽകിയത് പ്രശസ്ത സംഗീത സംവിധായകനായ ജി ദേവരാജനാണ്.
