"ഗായത്രി എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ മനോഹരമായ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ് തിരകൾ തിരകൾ. 1973-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തത് പി എൻ മേനോൻ ആണ്. കൊട്ടാരക്കര ശ്രീധരൻ നായർ, രാഘവൻ, ശങ്കരാടി തുടങ്ങിയവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിനേതാക്കൾ. തിരകൾ തിരകൾ എന്ന ഗാനം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയത് ജി ദേവരാജനാണ്. ഗായകൻ കെ ജെ യേശുദാസ് ആണ്. വയലാർ രാമവർമയാണ് വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്."
