"Thennal vannathum poovulanjuvo" is a song from the movie Kabooliwala sung by K S Chithra, famous Indian playback singer and Carnatic musician. S P Venkatesh, an Indian musical director and composer who primarily works in Malayalam films composed it's music and B. Sivasankaran Nair, popularly known as Bichu Thirumala wrote the lyrics. Siddique-Lal wrote and directed Kabooliwala, a 1994 Indian Malayalam-language coming-of-age comedic drama film starring Vineeth (Munna/Unni), Charmila (Laila), Innocent (Kannaas), and Jagathy Sreekumar (Kadalas). Meesai Madhavan was the Tamil remake of the film. In this song, Jagathi and Innocent, as well as Vineeth and Charmila, give outstanding performances. When Kannas and Kadalas meet Munna, who is looking for his bugle, which they have stolen, their lives are turned upside down.
പ്രശസ്ത ഇന്ത്യൻ പിന്നണി ഗായികയും കർണാടക സംഗീതജ്ഞയുമായ കെ എസ് ചിത്ര ആലപിച്ച കാബൂളിവാല എന്ന സിനിമയിലെ ഒരു ഗാനമാണ് "തെന്നൽ വന്നതും പൂവുലഞ്ഞുവോ". പ്രധാനമായും മലയാള സിനിമകളിൽ പ്രവർത്തിക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യൻ സംഗീതസംവിധായകനായ എസ് പി വെങ്കിടേഷാണ് ഈ ഗാനത്തിന് സംഗീതം നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നത്, ബിച്ചു തിരുമല എന്നറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ബി ശിവശങ്കരൻ നായരാണ് വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. വിനീത് (മുന്ന/ഉണ്ണി), ചാർമിള (ലൈല), ഇന്നസെന്റ് (കന്നാസ്), ജഗതി ശ്രീകുമാർ (കടലാസ്) എന്നിവർ അഭിനയിച്ച 1994-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ കാബൂളിവാല എന്ന ഇന്ത്യൻ മലയാള ഭാഷയിൽ സിദ്ദിഖ്-ലാൽ എഴുതി സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തു. ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ തമിഴ് റീമേക്ക് ആയിരുന്നു മീസൈ മാധവൻ. ഈ ഗാനത്തിൽ ജഗതിയും ഇന്നസെന്റും വിനീതും ചാർമിളയും മികച്ച പ്രകടനമാണ് കാഴ്ചവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. തങ്ങൾ മോഷ്ടിച്ച തന്റെ ബ്യൂഗിൾ തിരയുന്ന മുന്നയെ കന്നാസും കടലസും കണ്ടുമുട്ടുമ്പോൾ, അവരുടെ ജീവിതം കീഴ്മേൽ മറിയുന്നു.
