“ Thenmalayude” is a Malayalam song from the movie Surveykallu which was released in the year 1976. This song was sung together by the famous playback singers P. Madhuri and P. Jayachandran. The lyrics for this song were written by O. N. V. Kurup. This song was beautifully composed by music director G Devarajan. The film actors Usharani, Lakshmi, Manavalan Joseph, Mohan Sharma, M. G. Soman and Sankaradi played the lead character roles in this movie.
1976-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ സർവേകല്ല് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം ഗാനമാണ് “തേൻമലയുടെ”. ഈ ഗാനം പ്രശസ്ത പിന്നണി ഗായികമാരായ പി.മാധുരിയും പി.ജയചന്ദ്രനും ഒരുമിച്ച് ആലപിച്ചതാണ്. ഒ എൻ വി കുറുപ്പാണ് ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. സംഗീത സംവിധായകൻ ജി ദേവരാജൻ മനോഹരമായി ഈ ഗാനം ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു. ചലച്ചിത്ര അഭിനേതാക്കളായ ഉഷാറാണി, ലക്ഷ്മി, മണവാളൻ ജോസഫ്, മോഹൻ ശർമ്മ, എം ജി സോമൻ, ശങ്കരാടി എന്നിവരാണ് ചിത്രത്തിലെ പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങളെ അവതരിപ്പിച്ചത്.
