Vemulavada, a village about 32 kilometers from the town of Karimnagar in Telangana, is a famous pilgrim centre. It is home to the Sri Rajarajeswara Swamy Temple. Historical evidences point out that this region was once ruled by the Western Chalukyas and that the temple was constructed by them. Sources also suggest that this place was already a famous pilgrim and trade centre as far back as the 11th century AD. తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్రంలోని రాజన్నసిరిసిల్లజిల్లా లో, కరీంనగర్ పట్టణానికి 32 కి.మీ. ల దూరం లో వేములవాడ గ్రామం ఒక ప్రసిద్ద పుణ్య క్షేత్రం. శ్రీ రాజరాజేశ్వర స్వామి దేవాలయం ఉంది. చారిత్రక ప్రసిద్ది కలిగిన ఈ ఆలయాన్ని సందర్శించడానికి సుదూర ప్రాంతాల నుంచి కూడా భక్తులు వస్తుంటారు. ఈ ప్రాంతాన్ని పశ్చిమ చాళుక్యులు పాలించారని, వారే ఈ ఆలయాన్ని నిర్మించినట్లు చారిత్రిక ఆధారాలు ఉన్నాయి. ఈ గ్రామం 11 వ శతాబ్దానికే పుణ్య క్షేత్రంగా, వ్యాపార కేంద్రంగా పేరు గాంచింది. ఈ పురాతన, ప్రసిద్ధి పుణ్యక్షేత్రం గురించి ఈనో ఆసక్తి కరమైన విశేషాలు ఈ ప్రదర్శనలో ఇవ్వడం జరిగింది.
