On the outskirts of Hyderabad, some distance from the airport, is a village called Ammapally. The village is said to have received its name because it is believed that Seetha, the wife of Rama, had lived here once. This 13th century temple is supposed to have been built by the Vengi Kalyani Chalukyas. More on the temple and the various legends associated with it are given in this 2-part presentation. హైదరాబాద్ చివారులలో, విమానాశ్రయమునకు కొంత దూరంలో, అమ్మపల్లి అని ఒక గ్రామము ఉన్నది. సీతమ్మవారు కొలువై ఉన్న కారణంగానే ఈ ఊరికి అమ్మపల్లి అనే పేరు వచ్చింది అని స్థానికులు చెబుతారు. ఇక్కడ వేంగి కళ్యాణి చాళుక్యుల కాలం నాటి, 13వ శతాబ్దాలలో నిర్మింపబడిన శ్రీ రామచంద్ర స్వామి దేవాలయం ఒకటి బాగా ప్రసిద్ధి. ఈ ఆలయం విశిష్టతలు, స్థలపురాణాలు రెండు ప్రదర్శనలలో తెలియజేయడం జరిగింది. రెండింటిని డౌన్లోడ్ చేసి చదివి ఆనందించగలరు.
