The Greenhouse Effect

Presentations | English

The global temperature is rising as a result of human activity. As a result, the greenhouse effect, rather from being a wonderful ally as it once was, is now a threat to human survival. Coastal city floods, degradation of productive areas, glacial mass melting, and the spread of deadly hurricanes are only a few of the major repercussions. The greenhouse effect is a natural occurrence that benefits humans. After being heated by the sun, certain gases in the atmosphere retain a portion of the thermal radiation emitted by the Earth's surface, keeping the planet's temperature at a level ideal for the evolution of life. Human activity — such as manufacturing, intensive agriculture, and livestock farming, or transportation — has a significant impact on the environment. The use of fossil fuels has increased as the world's population has grown. As a result, the amount of greenhouse gases released into the environment has increased. Carbon dioxide is taken up by plants and released by trees. There is a significant increase in greenhouse gases as a result of tree chopping, which raises the earth's temperature. One of the contributors to the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere is nitrous oxide, which is utilized in fertilizers. Hazardous gases are produced by businesses and manufacturers and released into the atmosphere. Landfills also emit carbon dioxide and methane, which contribute to global warming.
