The song "Thaliyoor Bhagavathikku" was sung by K. S. Chitra, M. G. Sreekumar and Vijay Yesudas for the movie 'Dada Saahib'. It is a Malayalam action-drama film co-written and directed by Vinayan that was released in the year 2000. Mammootty taking dual roles in this movie. The music was composed by Mohan Sithara and lyrics written by Yusufali Kecheri. Mammootty portrayed both Dada Sahib, a veteran of the Indian independence movement, and Abubacker, a soldier and nationalist. The picture was one of the most successful of that year. Other important characters include Sai Kumar, Murali, Rajan P Dev, Babu Namboothiri, Kalabhavan Mani, Cochin Haneefa, K. B. Ganesh Kumar, Madhupal, and Mohan Sharma.
ദാദാ സാഹിബ് എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിന് വേണ്ടി കെ എസ് ചിത്രയും എം ജി ശ്രീകുമാറും വിജയ് യേശുദാസും ചേർന്ന് പാടിയതാണ് "താളിയൂർ ഭഗവതിക്ക്" എന്ന ഗാനം. വിനയൻ സഹ-രചനയും സംവിധാനവും നിർവഹിച്ച് 2000-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഒരു മലയാളം ആക്ഷൻ-ഡ്രാമ ചിത്രമാണിത്. മമ്മൂട്ടി ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ഇരട്ട വേഷങ്ങൾ ചെയ്യുന്നു. യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരിയുടെ വരികൾക്ക് മോഹൻ സിത്താര സംഗീതം പകർന്നു. ഇന്ത്യൻ സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യ സമര സേനാനിയായിരുന്ന ദാദാ സാഹിബിനെയും സൈനികനും ദേശീയവാദിയുമായ അബൂബക്കറെയും മമ്മൂട്ടി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. ആ വർഷത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വിജയകരമായ ചിത്രങ്ങളിലൊന്നായിരുന്നു ചിത്രം. സായ് കുമാർ, മുരളി, രാജൻ പി ദേവ്, ബാബു നമ്പൂതിരി, കലാഭവൻ മണി, കൊച്ചിൻ ഹനീഫ, കെ ബി ഗണേഷ് കുമാർ, മധുപാൽ, മോഹൻ ശർമ്മ എന്നിവരാണ് മറ്റ് പ്രധാന കഥാപാത്രങ്ങൾ.
