“Thaalam Naadam Velicham” is a Malayalam drama song from the K P A C drama titled Jeevitham avasanikunilla, which was released in the year 1970. The songs in this album were beautifully composed by the music director G. Devarajan and M. K. Arjunan. The lyrics for this song were written by Vayalar Ramavarma. “Ilanji poothu”, “Eeswaranee naattil” are some of the other songs from this album. It starts with the line “Thaalam naadam velicham nizhal niramivayaal”.
1970-ൽ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ കെപിഎസി നാടകത്തിലെ ജീവിതം അവസാനിക്കുനില്ലാ എന്ന നാടകത്തിലെ ഒരു മലയാളം നാടകഗാനമാണ് “താളം നാദം വെളിച്ചം”. ഈ ആൽബത്തിലെ ഗാനങ്ങൾ സംഗീത സംവിധായകൻ ജി.ദേവരാജനും എം.കെ.അർജുനനും ചേർന്ന് മനോഹരമായി ചിട്ടപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. വയലാർ രാമവർമയാണ് ഈ ഗാനത്തിന്റെ വരികൾ എഴുതിയത്. “ഇലഞ്ഞി പൂത്ത്”, “ഈശ്വരനീ നാട്ടിൽ” എന്നിവ ഈ ആൽബത്തിലെ മറ്റ് ചില ഗാനങ്ങളാണ്. “താളം നാദം വെളിച്ചം നിഴൽ നിറമിവയാൽ” എന്ന വരിയിൽ തുടങ്ങുന്നു.
