A tax associate or a tax specialist is someone who who is responsible for the preparation of taxes and analysis of all tax related operations. It is their responsibility to generate tax returns and ensure appropriate proceedings of all tax based operations, pertaining to an organisation or company. As a tax associate, one must engage in effective communication with not only the clients but also other departments and help them safeguard themselves from fraud and ensure that their documents align with government tax rules and regulations. One must also review and minimise tax liabilities, generate and file tax returns, assist with tax audits and review and resolve problems related to it, give valuable advice to clients and also communicate and review their tax information as well.
